A SURVEYING CAMP WITH HIGH PRODUCTIVITY

A Surveying Camp for the technical college teachers, a function of enhancing their knowledge in operation techniques and software mapping with total station and GPS, was just completed in Bangkok, Thailand a couple of days ago.

The May days are so hot on this amazing fantastic land, Bangkok, which always ignites the passion of hard work for people here. Next to the function of last year, SOUTH and the Thailand exclusive distributor, KIJWISAI, organized a 3-day refresher training course for the technical college teachers again. And this time, 39 lecturers from different vocational schools nationwide participated in the events in Phranakhon Rajabhat University (University of Teacher Education) during May 2 to 4. Mr. Veerachai Trisak, Director Deputy of Vocational School Commission, gave a short speech of welcome remarks for the camp function.

The intuitive course included topic presentations, simple operation guide, fieldwork practices and mapping software instruction, which has enabled the attendees to better understand the history and developments of surveying equipments, especially total station and GPS, and practice more with the modern instruments and software on site. It was a good chance to get the teachers well updated as the manufacturer and local distributor are working closely hand in hand to educate the attendees. Well-guided operation, a simple try and then intensive studies would be definitely worth more than reading a hundred pages of user manual.

Besides the productive training, a carnival party, an interesting raffle section and an amazing magic show were particularly plotted for the group there. Fun, joy, passion and excitement added up to a good conclusion and great success of this activity.

It was another memorable moment in the Thailand market developments, which would inspire us to go deep and go forward.
