Last week, the Asian Distributors Conference 2011 was held in Manila, Philippines. Nearly 50 delegates from different parties attended the events, which achieved complete success as expected.
It could be described as a milestone of the year because it was just the second time for SOUTH to organize the events outside the citadel, China. During Nov. 6 to 9, the Asian Distributors Conference 2011 was finally crowned with great success. And this time, Philippines was honorably made the host and the local exclusive distributor, Surveytech Trading Co, contributed a great deal to the carnival.
On Nov. 7 morning, the conference started in Hotel Rembrandt, moderated by Mr. Jackie Cheung, Manager of Asia, Europe & Oceania Regions. The distributor friends came from different parts of Asia such as Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Korea, Bangladesh as well as the representatives from SOUTH Europe Marketing & Service Center. Still, some VIP guests from both government sector and private sector were invited, like NAMRIA (NAtional Mapping and Resource Information Authority), LMB (Land Management Bureau), GEP (Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines), etc. Mr. Han Yao, General Manager of the International Business Division, delivered a speech on behalf of the top management, illustrating the NEWS from SOUTH, including New Offices & Factories, New Staff Team, New Events, New Products and New Future. Then, all distributor representatives presented their own organization and stories with SOUTH. And, several distinguished guests gave some nice remarks for the conference too.
After the conference, the event venue was moved to the local Surveying Building, that’s the office of Surveytech Trading. Though not as big as the Surveying Building of Guangzhou Headquarters, this office was really a perfect miniature of loyalty and devotion. Concentration on a single brand, plenty of SOUTH messages and posters in office, plus well-elaborated decorations, were so impressed and amazed by all visitors. A successful story from SOUTH distributor was unfolded with all plotted details. And the highlighted moment came afterwards as it was just the birthday of the Philippine boss. A stand party, composed of music, dancing, and jokes from a tiny global village, extended the happy hours for all people there.
Apart from business section, a one-day sightseeing tour was included on Nov. 8. A local place of interest, Pagsanjan Waterfall Drifting, brought a wet game from the nature to all the participants. Fun, unity and excitement were the theme and memories that would be kept in mind for long.
Shortly after the events, the SOUTH representatives again visited NAMRIA and GEP to extend the wishes of more communication and further cooperation.
Days were short for the events but all attendants enjoyed. With the fruitful hits, SOUTH shall expect more fantastic stories from Asia as well as worldwide.
