The 16th INTERGEO conference and trade fair was held in Cologne from 5 to 7 October 2010.It was also the first time, Chinese companies grouped together, led by the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping to attend INTERGEO. On 6th Oct, hosted by the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping,(here after SBSM) ‘Day of China INTERGEO 2010’ was held in Offenbachsaal of Koelnmesse. Professor Liu Xianlin, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Mr. Guo Siqing,vice president of SOUTH, and other leaders of Chinese surveying industry delivered speech on the topics on Chinese Aerial,GIS, surveying instrument development, and so on, after which, Mr. Xu Deming, Director General of State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping also gave his remarks on China-Germany surveying circle cooperation. A short Signing Ceremony of Agreements of China and foreign partners was witnessed by China-Germany leaders.

During the exhibition, Mr. Xu Deming, visited SOUTH booth and to watch our latest exhibits. When he heard that South owns independent intellectual property rights of RTK, Total Station and other surveying instruments, its products have been exported to more than 80 countries and areas, Xu was very pleased and encouraged the company to continue in technical innovation and further develop the international market.

In the morning of 7th Oct, In front of SOUTH booth, Chinese representatives give present to Germany Surveying Society, the exchange between Chinese and Germany Surveying society was successfully concluded.
