Organized by Siberian State Geodetic Academy, Russian Academy of Science Siberian Branch profile institutes, Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography, GEOSIBERIA-2009 was held from April 21 to 23 at the well known ЯРМАРКА exhibition center at new Siberia. So far, this is the largest international exhibition of professional measuring instruments in Russia.

More than 60 exhibitors from China, Russia, Germany, Israel, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, etc attended this fair. They are surveying instrument manufacturers or engineering surveying users. Net display area reached to 3500 square meters.

Many famous surveying brands like Leica Geosystems AG (Switzerland), SOVZOND, SOVINFORMSPUTNIK, GEOKOSMOS, RAKURS, SCANEX, NAVGEOKOM, SIBGEOINFORM, Regional Cadastral Centre "ZEMLYA" all attended the exhibition. However, SOUTH also shined among them with its newly updated 960R series windows total station and its newly developed 360R series total station. Visitors gave high praise to SOUTH’s product quality and on-spot service. The high cost-effective products attracted many Russian engineering users and visitors from surveying school. Many foreign companies showed their great interest to SOUTH and it come to exhibit next year, which gave us great confidence to the Russian market.
