With the big effort and hard work of people in Carlson and Microsurvey, SurvCE and FieldGenius are working properly with SOUTH S660 new RTK receiver. Nowadays, more and more users are willing to use the software for their surveying jobs because of the productive function of these programs.

Now let’s learn how to operate the S660 receiver with SurvCE and FieldGenius:

Carlson SurvCE
Due to the driver of S660 has not been completely built yet in the model list, we are using the driver of S86-2013 for S660.
Establish Bluetooth connection as usual (search the surrounding Bluetooth devices, then choose the correct device’s serial number and bond with controller).
Select the DCI (Data Collector Internet) mode and then set parameters for NTRIP.
Successfully access to server and get fixed solution.

FieldGenius
As the same in SurvCE, we also use the driver of S86-2013 or S82-2013 in FieldGenius for S660.
Establish Bluetooth connection with S660 receiver in usual way (GNSS Rover—Edit—Model and Communication—Bluetooth—Search—Connect).
  

Choose the option of Data Collector Internet, then setup the access parameters, please make sure that “Shared” is selected in Data Port.
Request source table and select a proper mount point in the list.
Successfully connect to network and access to server, then get fixed solution.
