12thApril, 2014 was an important time for India government election. The temperature about 40 degree in Gujarat, whose chief minister is most well-known and competitive candidates of Prime Minister of India on behalf of the Party BJP. The National Survey Day Event was held on time in the famous conference center of AMA (Ahmadabad Management Association). More than 200 professional surveyors joined this event. 

SOUTH, as Sole Sponsor of National Survey Day Event, had sponsored this event four times. Most of Surveyors are very close to SOUTH Team as friends. In the event Mr.Kothari, General Secretary of Gujarat Land Surveyors Association, reported the achievement during 2013-2014 in surveying industry. Special guests and Ex-Commissioners from Land Record Survey Department, gave very good comment to GLSA. SOUTH had taken this chance to present the new products and GNSS technology. SOUTH expected the opportunity of election would bring fast development surveying industry in India. 

During the period of National Survey Day, GLSA and SOUTH organized 3days professional training for Gujarat licensed surveyors, including modern surveying and real estate management. It was a valuable training in surveying field. South are very interested to make best contributions to the development of surveying industry in India! We will keep doing!
