The 2nd Asian Distributors Conference was just completed with a great success in Thailand days ago.

It was a perfect extension of the first event which was held in Manila, Philippines in November, 2011. Some fellow distributors from nearly 10 countries, including Philippines, Indonesia, South Korea, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Mongolia, as well as the host, Thailand, took part in this carnival, by which a mini global village was formed once again during June 12 to 16.

The standard part of conference, presided over by Mr. Jackie Cheung, Manager of Asia, Oceania & European Regions, was done accordingly on the morning of June 13. And Mr. Han Yao, General Manager of International Business Division, delivered the welcome remarks to the participants and made a speech to update the latest changes of South Group and the general information of the new products. Then, one representative from each group was invited to give a report on the stories and developments in their respective countries. Definitely it was the highlighted part, during which quite a lot of interesting stories were vividly presented to the audience. At the end, the moment of honors came with the awarding session, and the organizer and host both offered the souvenirs for sweet memories.

Another key part of the event, new products release, was conducted on the afternoon of the same day. Mr. Vincent Ying, Sales Manager of Asia & Oceania Regions, talked about the developments of the new models, including total station, electronic theodolite, and automatic level, etc. And the latest news on GNSS products range was presented by Mr. Max Hu, GPS Marketing Manager. The most attractive moments of the products show came when the participants were trying with the waterproof and shockproof testing on spot. The new automatic level DSZ3, and 2 new RTK models, S82-2013 and S86-2013, were placed in the aquarium for long time and still remained good working conditions. The shockproof demo was moved to outdoors, as such receivers were witnessed to survive from a 2m drop with the carbon fiber pole. All people were amazed by the great enhancements under such extreme working environments. There was nothing better than such sharp personal experience, as a simple try was worth a thousand words.

After the conference, some sightseeing tours were arranged to reward the hard-working partners. Everybody had a wonderful time in both Bangkok and Pattaya, and the impressive trip came with a happy ending and a fruitful result as expected.
