A RISING CHINESE STAR IN THE INTERGEO

The 16th INTERGEO conference and trade fair was held in Cologne from the 5th to the 7th of October 2010. Over 500 companies have showcased their latest developments and products, while over 5,000 visitors from more than 40 countries attended the trade fair this year.


As a regular exhibitor, SOUTH has taken the liberty to book a 112 square meters booth, the set ups, updated products and a brand new outlook drawls the attentions of the coming visitors. Many of them came to ask for the brochures of SOUTH’s products which were all sent out in the morning of Oct 7th, while the total station NTS-370R, RTK S82T, and S760 RTK receiver became the center of the attraction for young surveyors.


This particular INTERGEO plays a significant role for China for it is first time, Chinese surveying companies grouped together, led by the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping to attend INTERGEO. On the 6th of Oct, hosted by the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping, 'Day of China INTERGEO 2010' was held in Offenbachsaal of Koelnmesse. Mr. Guo Siqing, Vice president of SOUTH, delivered a speech on the topic regarding to 'the development of Chinese surveying instruments' as well as its positive influences in the world surveying industry.
