October 28 -31, the "2009 China's geographic information industry Forum, and the second session of the Education Forum and Employment Fair" was held in Wuhan, SOUTH's deputy director, director and doctoral tutor of Beijing Forestry University Geographic Information Systems teaching and research department Professor Feng Zhongke won The General Assembly named " The Outstanding Talent of China's Geographic Information Industry’ Awards, previously, Professor Feng Zhongke has won the first "Top Ten GIS Innovation People at College".

This forum was held under the joint efforts of China Association for GIS, ZhongCe Company, MAPGIS, WUHAN University, HUBEI Bureau of Surveying and Mapping, WUHAN Bureau of Land Resources and Planning.
