On August 7 and 8 the 71st annual Convention of the College of Engineers and Surveyors of Puerto Rico was held at the hotel El Conquistador. South distributor Ricardo Delgado accompanied by Daniel Xu, South US office representative, were there in booth number seven.

During those two days many people visited the booth and discovered the new instruments, the NTS-960R and the NTS-360R series. Everyone was amazed by the appearance, featuresand affordable price of both series, but specially for the NTS 960R.

During Daniel's visit to the island he visited many surveyors offices with South distributor, giving them the opportunity to have a first look to the new instruments. He gave them a presentation about South and the full line of products. Many of the surveyors visited were Javier Bidot , Gonzalo Vargas, Fernando Santiago, Marcos Ramos and Marcos Colón.  Also José Rivera, president of the Institute of Surveyors of P.R., José Rojas and Gerardo Ramos from the government's Natural Resources Department, surveying division. And last but not least Eduardo Conde. He owns the biggest repairing center for surveying instruments in the island.
