SOUTH delegates just closed a formal visit to NAMRIA (National Mapping and Resource Information Authority) of Philippines the day before yesterday, which has been of great significance for future cooperation to both sides.

As mentioned in title, NAMRIA sent Eng. Nicandro Parayno, Office-in-Charge of Aerial and Spatial Surveys Division, to Guangzhou for the presence at SOUTH 20th Anniversary Grand Ceremony last April and SOUTH was invited to pay a return visit. Eventually, Mr. Ma Chao, Managing Director of SOUTH Group, and representative from International Business Division came to NAMRIA place to meet such lovely foreign friends. General Diony Ventura, Administrator, and the staff showed warm hospitality to the visiting group and spent quite some time with the Chinese guests by holding a presentation, showing around the office facilities as well as introducing NAMRIA.

The well-organized meeting included a part of presentation, which was a pretty good job enabling the NAMRIA people to learn more about CORS, particularly SOUTH NRS system. A big surprise came up to them that now even Chinese manufacturers are able to bring out nice high-end surveying products, and definitely SOUTH is the most typical one among this group.

A new page just got started for the future cooperation and also can well interpret the tremendous efforts for international market development of the SOUTH Group in recent years. Earnest attempts and steady progress will help much, despite a long way to go.
