SOUTH CORS BOOMS HOME AND ABROAD
After years of promoting, SOUTH CORS, which provides plans for continuable station setup for many regions, now emerges a new climax of "CORS station setting up" in domestic and abroad.
Erdos: SOUTH won the bid for Erdo's GNSS EEDS CORS project, it will set up 14 network reference stations(NRS) for GNSS reference stations for Erdos's bureau of land and resource.
Sichuan: The first satellite mapping CORS reference station in Sichuan province, which was built by SOUTH, was inaugurated in May, 6th,2009. The establishment of this reference station, will provide a better surveying service in accuracy, speed and efficiency for the surveying project, land survey, engi-neering construction, municipal works and agricultural management etc in this region.
GUANGDONG: In 2009, May 12th, the GUANGDONG Provincial Department of Land and Resources held a training course for the applying technology of the Continuous operational satellite positioning service system. South provided facilities and technical support for this training. And SOUTH's CORS and RTK products won high praise by the attendant trainees.
Indonesia: Also in May, SOUTH CORS product and network CORS software NRS passed the final cognizance by the Indonesia state Bureau of Surveying and Mapping, which became the second suc-cessful GNSS business case in the oversea market. The first one was that in the middle of 2008, the network RTK receiver was successfully accepted by HONGKONG LANDS DEPARTMENT.
As the sophisticated technology of GPS, CORS has been widely used. Up to the end of 2009, SOUTH has built more than 450 CORS station and nearly 20 network CORS system, far ahead in terms of quantity and quality! The achievement in the market benefits from the exclusive advantages of SOUTH CORS (NRS).
