On July 3rd, the 35th Anniversary Celebration of SOUTH Surveying & Mapping and the 2024 International Distributor Conference was held in Sanya. Over a hundred international distributors from around the world gathered in Sanya for this grand event.

The main products and new equipment were displayed along both sides of a long corridor, attracting attendees to stop and explore. Colleagues from the International Business Department conversed with distributors from various countries, signed the giant signature wall, and took photos.

This year marks the 35th anniversary of SOUTH. The Vice President of SOUTH Surveying & Mapping Group and General Manager of the International Business Department, Ma Ran, detailed the company’s remarkable journey over the past 35 years, as well as over 20 years of partnership with international distributors.

Since venturing into the international market in 2003, SOUTH has established itself globally for over 20 years. The attending partners came from 34 countries or regions, with cooperation durations ranging from a few years to over 20 years. This broad reach and long-term collaboration highlight the solid and profound presence of SOUTH in the international market. Awards such as “Long Cooperation Award,” “Partner of the Year 2023-2024,” “GEO Pioneer,” and “Most Valuable Professional” were presented at the ceremony.

Following the awards, responsible persons in relevant business fields gave special reports on current key areas of SOUTH, covering RTK, SurvStar (software), total stations, VR combo, LiDAR, marine surveying products, and remote sensing. These reports generated great interest among the attendees, who visited the exhibition area during breaks to closely observe and experience the products.

To better demonstrate product performance and features, an outdoor demonstration session was held on the second day. The technical service team of SOUTH conducted demonstrations in the field, allowing guests to operate the equipment hands-on and gain deeper insights into the series of products.

During the conference, a sharing session was also arranged, where seven partners shared their cooperation journey and product preferences with SOUTH.
